  • Abstract
The present deicing technology, applied in ship deck, has some disadvantages like poor efficiency, high cost and risk. According to the air circulation theory, a new temperature rising technology is proposed to make deck temperature rise by exchanging airflow in the local microenvironment between the ship and the sea. In this paper, the special experimental device was designed, and the principles of this new technology were studied. The experimental results show that the ship deck temperature can be increased compared to the previous without this new temperature rising technology. As a result, the new deck-temperature-rising technology can not only reduce the probability of freezing but also clear the ice efficiently.
