Abstract :
The application of diakoptic antenna theory to microstriplines is investigated. The diakoptic theory for microstriplines is described as a double application of the moment method. The first application uses pulse basis functions for the current expansion. The second application uses the first-order variational current distribution as the basis for the current expansion in the moment method. Very good agreement with experiment is found for a monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) spiral rectangular transformer.<>
