Abstract
The use of computing power may lead to communication devices that contain an element of the personality of the user. Traditionally one has tried to add bits of technology to the body. Developments in communications aids will do the reverse of this. If the physical body cannot easily (or at all) interact with the environment then why not create a physically able machine and transfer intellect into it
