Abstract
This work reports results obtained with the use of a game engine as a virtual simulation tool for dose assessment in nuclear plants, using on-line measurements. Since the game engine used has networking capabilities, measurement data is collected from real radiation monitors installed in a nuclear plant, to represent the radiation dose rate in pre-defined areas within the virtual environment, and to compute the dose received by the avatars. Results are presented and discussed.
