Abstract :
Requirements are described for real-time tool sets and details are given concerning NAMO, a non-preemptive application monitor for real-time applications. The design goals and system features are outlined. The authors give preliminary details of this system since some of the subsystems are still in the process of development. An example of applying NAMO to a real-time system which is resource limited is provided
