Curriculum setting is the core and critical point of normal education. There are many drawbacks in the curriculum setting of Chinese normal education. Therefore, in order to expose our flaws and make the contribution to our normal education reform, a comparative study of Curriculum Setting in normal education between China and America is necessary. This paper makes a a comparative study of Curriculum Setting from the following four perspectives i.e. Orientation or Non-Orientation, Division of Majors, The Proportion of Education Courses and Fieldwork to the whole Curriculum, Renovation of Courses.
