  • Abstract
    A hardware and software framework for parking guidance and information system based on TCP/IP protocol is proposed. A full embedded Internet based hardware and software framework is designed for more intelligent and convenient, which contains parking space detection, parking management, information release, an embedded HTTP Web Server and an Internet interface for Urban Traffic Guidance System. The real-time car spaces information is transferred under UDP protocol and the control data is transferred under TCP protocol. The system was installed in Beijing Cuiwei Department Store parking lot, and experiment was carried out to verify the system effects.
