Abstract :
A geometric method which exploits the coupled relationship between relative position and relative attitude pointing is proposed to derive the desired relative attitude pointing Euler angles. The coupled kinematics and the dynamics equations of the relative attitude pointing are obtained. A sliding mode control based on exponent reaching law is applied to the coupled control system. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the coupled control system on the relative attitude pointing and relative position of spacecraft formation flying.
