Abstract
Presents an improved procedure, by using both surface and interior integral equations for conducting bodies of revolution, in which certain field components, such as the tangential E-field, vanish not only on the radiating surface, but also in the interior of the radiator, therefore the deficiencies of the previous procedure in the vicinity of the interior resonant frequencies can be overcome. A general computer program is written, and sample computations are given for a sphere. It is shown that a unique solution can be obtained using the improved method
