Abstract
The authors suggest a method of phase-difference radiotomography (RT) based on measurements of the Doppler frequency of a radiowave from a satellite. The reconstruction of the 2D distribution of the electron density then becomes a problem of RT using phase-difference measurements. Using the piece-plane approximation based on triangular elements, and an approximation of higher orders the difference system is transformed to the large sparse system of linear equations. An experimental complex using a probing source onboard the navigation satellite was built
