Abstract
Spreadsheet software is widely used chiefly as an office-use paperwork tool. On the other hand, the enhanced calculation function also enables utilization in an industrial field. In this paper, Excel is taken up as a typical spreadsheet, and the effectiveness in engineering education is verified by showing carefully selected five examples including, a) Understanding of sampling theorem, b) Simulation of adaptive algorithm, c) Speed control simulation of a DC motor, d) System pole assignment, and e) Acceleration animation of a pendulum, that centers on the measurement and control field.
