Abstract
The average power of superwide-band corrugated waveguide, i.e. double-ridged corrugated waveguide are discussed here. The rated average power is one of the three major parameters for expressing electrical performance of transmission lines. Consequently, the rated average power both of types JRS 3500 and JRS 7500 corrugated waveguides are analyzed, and the relationship between average power and the temperature elevation of corrugated waveguide are given. At the same time, the rated average power of the waveguides with different corrugation depths are calculated. The results can meet the engineering requirements.
