Abstract
This paper presents an approach to using fuzzy logic controller (FLC) to emulate the traditional switching look up table method with direct torque control (DTC) for asynchronous motor. The improved switching patterns to minimize the torque ripple is obtained based on the designed FLC. The choosing of the FLC rules, which adjusts the switching lookup table to reduce the torque ripple, could be recursively updated for the proposed FLC configuration. The torque and the speed of asynchronous machine are controlled successfully, which make it possible to improve the system performance and apply it to practice. The simulation results are presented.
