Abstract
In this paper, material independent PML absorbers used for the FDTD analysis of an electromagnetic wave propagating in arbitrary lossy anisotropic dielectric material are proposed. Within this absorber, electric displacement D and magnetic field H are directly absorbed, whereas electric field E is simultaneously absorbed through the relation of D and E. Validation of the proposed absorbers is done through numerical examples
