Abstract :
An analytical expression for calculation of the potential distribution on the axis of an electron-optical converter is derived. The expression differs from that obtained earlier (Lisitsyna et al., 1985) by the numerical factor in the exponent. Calculations based on this expression and those from the finite difference method are different within 3%
