  • Abstract
    Two-dimensional non-separable quadrature mirror filters (2-D QMFs) are designed. An iterative algorithm is used for the optimization of a prototype diamond-shaped filter. The variations of the reconstruction error as a function of the size and specifications of the prototype filter are tabulated
