Abstract
Urban metro, with its high transport capacity, has been used in many cities around the world as the main transport mode in public transportation to solve traffic problems. Transfer efficiency is the main factor reflecting the level of service in metro transport. In this paper, a series of evaluation index affecting the transfer efficiency are selected, and a comprehensive evaluation model to evaluate transfer efficiency based on grey correlation method and the principal component analysis method. Grey correlation method is applied to obtain the grey correlation degree for each evaluation index, and principal component analysis method is used to get the weight coefficient of the index. Finally, an empirical example from Nanjing Metro Line 1 is provided to illustrate this approach, and the results are proved to be effective and reasonable.
