  • Abstract
Public sector enterprises create human resource strategies and emphasize the organizational productivity. The human resource strategies depend on the productivity, commitment, competence, and globalization are more importance. Therefore, there seems to be a strong relationship between human resource strategies and organizational productivity. The paper aims to empirically examine this relation. The study examined the relationship between HR strategies (Independent variables) and organizational productivity (Dependent variable). A sample of 108 managers from two public sector enterprises in Iran responded to a questionnaire which measured the relationship between human resource strategies and organizational productivity. The principal research method employed included the sample and measurements tools, and data analysis concerning the human resource strategies and organizational productivity by using SPSS package 13. The human resource strategies like productivity, commitment, competence, and globalization were positively related to organizational productivity. On the other hand in all the nine hypotheses the study indicates a positive relationship at .01 level and rejects the null hypotheses. The study was exploratory in nature. Further studies are needed on a large sample to examine some human resource strategies like reward management, job evaluation, remuneration, performance appraisal and etc.
