Abstract :
A novel concept of channel estimation standard (CES) is introduced. The convexity property of the CES cost function is shown. The application of CES to the process of adaptive blind equalization is illustrated, where a new CES error criterion is then proposed. An algorithm for the process of adaptive blind equalization has been developed and simulated for a quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) communication system
