Abstract :
Discusses a constructive solution to the problem of the realization of a given (strictly) contractive time-varying system as the partial transfer operator of a lossless system. The construction is done in a state space context and gives rise to a time-varying Riccati-type equation. It is the generalization to the time-varying case of the time-invariant Darlington synthesis
