Abstract :
A novel double-input contactless resonant converter (DICRC) for the grid & renewable energy wireless power transmission (WPT) system is proposed in this paper. By the analysis of power flow, it is known that the feedback energy to renewable energy source should be avoided in the control design. So fundamenntal components in phase modulation (FCPM) is adopted for DICRC. Then the unified output voltage of the converter is analyzed. Since the converter´s characteristic is sensitive to operation frequency, fs is introduced into the control system. In the hybrid+PWM control, the minimum duty cycle D2min is limited to hold the output voltage, which also determined the minimum input power Pin_2. So a double-hybrid control scheme is proposed and adopted over wide input power range, and the novel control scheme is completed based on the realization of FCPM and hybrid regulator. Experimental results on 1.8kW prototype are presented to evaluate theoretical analysis and the effectiveness of the novel control scheme.
