  • Abstract
A pulse coded neuron implemented via weight choices of all the sixteen Boolean functions of two variables is introduced. The long-range goal of this research is to be able to transform any present day digital computer into a pulse coded neural network. A crucial step in that direction is to prove that Boolean functions can be implemented with pulse-coded neurons. Such a proof is given. A table of the values to give to the weights, and an example to explain how the weights can modify the processing of information in the neuron are included. SPICE simulation results are given on the exclusive OR
