Abstract :
Optical pulse generation by the electrooptic modulation method was demonstrated using a polarization-reversed electrooptic modulator with resonant electrodes. 25 ps pulse trains with ~15 GHz repetition frequency and negligible timing jitter were observed with a streak camera.
