Abstract :
The construction of a nuclear power plant is a very complex systematic project, mainly including engineering, procurement, construction and start-up phases. Among those stages, engineering materials management is a fundamental and decisive job. In this paper, the engineering materials´ properties are researched. In order to manage the engineering materials in VPRM efficiently, we proposed the nuclear power plant engineering materials classification method, and developed three kinds of workflow based on VPRM, effectively solved the problems of engineering materials management of the third generation nuclear power plant. In the paper an example of the third generation nuclear power plant engineering materials management application is given, which namely the Taishan Nuclear Power Plant Engineering Management System.
