  • Abstract
    In this paper, a novel microwave planar integration scheme is proposed based on SIW technology. All the passive components in RF transceiver are implemented using SIW, including antenna, duplexer, TX/RX filters and LO power divider. A demonstration X-band transceiver is designed in a single layer printed circuit board. The design of SIW components and RF/IF circuits are discussed, as well as various aspects of system integration. To author´s knowledge, this work is the first to demonstrate a fully integrated solution based on SIW-like technology.
