Abstract
A comprehensive evaluation index system was built on the basis of harmonious developments of economy, population, society and ecological environment. Through weighting the involved indexes with hierarchy analysis method, economy and society development of Tianjin, China in 2007 was evaluated by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. The results showed that the comprehensive development of Tianjin belonged to high level although, disadvantages and deficiencies manifested according to the membership degrees of single indexes.
