Abstract
There is strong evidence, based on news reports and supported by experts, that engineering work and tasks are being restructured and reallocated across different countries. Yet this significant transformation of the engineering enterprise hasn´t been explored systematically. This paper will summarize current trends in the size, scope, and trajectory of engineering globalization. The implications of engineering globalization for engineering education will be explored based on these findings.
