Abstract
The need to locate areas of abnormal vegetation change arises when one wants to detect and limit areas damaged or recovering from e.g. heavy air pollution. The authors demonstrate two different methods for change detection, in order to determine the extent of vegetation change due to heavy pollution from the Cu-Ni smelters in the Monchegorsk area on the Kola peninsula, Russia
