Two constant false alarm rate (CFAR) methods, one in accordance with a clutter edge, the other in view of the multiple target situation, are briefly described. The computer simulation results on the detection performance of these two CFAR methods under the clutter edge or multiple target situation, which are compared with the cell averaging (CA-) CFAR and the order statistic (OS-) CFAR, is given
