    Summarises some of the results achieved by utilising trellis coded modulation (TCM) combined with Viterbi decoding and a strong adaptive time domain equalizer (ATDE) in a radio relay equipment for transmission of a STM-1 signal (155 Mbit/s). The equipment is available in all frequency bands from 4 to 13 GHz
