  • Abstract
Discusses the advantages and disadvantages of code division multiple access (CDMA) and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). With CDMA, the error probability depends only on the number of simultaneous users. The channel quality decreases as the number of active users increase. In COFDM systems the mobile receiver multipath problem is solved and no power control is required
