Abstract
This paper surveys the low-frequency fields that are present in the environment to be measured. The motivation for measuring these fields stems increasingly either from interference on equipment (principally VDUs) or from concerns about possible health effects. The most common sources of magnetic fields are the various components of the power system, producing fields at 50 Hz and its harmonics
