Abstract
ldquoPush-pullrdquo conjugated organic chromophores having large first hyperpolarizabilities also exhibit resonance hyper-Raman scattering, the two-photon analog of resonance Raman or the inelastic analog of hyper-Rayleigh scattering. Examples and applications of this technique are discussed.
