Abstract
Ground and ERS SAR data acquired over bare soils located in The Netherlands, France and Italy are analysed. Correlation properties of long roughness profiles are shown. Besides, SAR data are compared with theoretical predictions and results are discussed by using simulated data obtained by exploiting a MOM code
