Abstract
This paper illustrates a matrix relationship between pressure fields at two ranges separated by an unknown medium. Once the matrix relationship is known, it can be used for acoustic calibration. A description of how to solve for the matrix is given and then the matrix is used to visualize mode coupling for several examples of varying ocean environments
