  • Abstract
According to the engineering practice of municipal solid waste landfill, the dynamic response of landfill based on the finite element method is implemented. The equivalent linearization method is used to consider the non-linear dynamic response characteristics. In order to fully reflect the impact of the seismic motion characteristics of the dynamic response, three actual-waves and one artificial seismic wave are inputted. The research shows that different seismic waves have great different seismic responses. In seismic design of actual landfill, the ground motion must consider to input two actual-waves and one artificial seismic wave at least in order to better reflect the dynamic characteristics of landfill.
