Abstract
This paper proposes an off-grid wind power generation system with hybrid energy storage. The proposed hybrid energy storage which comprises of battery and water-electrolysis-hydrogen, enables the off-grid wind power generation system to achieve self-sustainable operation and zero emission. Furthermore, an optimal power management method and a complete system sizing method are proposed for the system to optimize its operation and configuration. A case study with simulation results is provided to show the rationality and validity of the proposed system and its corresponding optimization method.
