Abstract :
ADSS (all-dielectric self-supporting) fiber-optic cable will be seriously damaged when it is located at the position of intensive electric field. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the distribution of the electric field near the high-voltage power towers. By using method of moment (MoM), the electric field near some high-voltage power towers is calculated, and the location of ADSS fiber-optic cable is presented. Then the effect of the phase sequence of the transmission lines on the electrical fields is analyzed
