Abstract
This paper has been produced as a result of work funded by Hitachi and from a general interest in fuzzy logic. It proposes a very simple scheme for lessening perturbations in systems using fuzzy two term control (PI and PD feedback control systems). A means of coarse tuning the fuzzy systems is also presented. Possible extensions to the method described are presented as are problems encountered and how they were circumvented. The extensions describe the possibility of implementing a simple learning mechanism to improve the lessening of perturbations
