Abstract
Southern Jiangxi province is rich in rare earth ore resources. For a long time, large-scale, extremely intense rare earth mining activities severely damaged the eco-geological environment in the mining areas, which restricts the regional social and economic sustainable development. The article discusses in detail the main types and features on eco-geological environment problems caused by rare earth mining in Gannan area, and proposes mine eco-geological environment protection measures and suggestions, aiming on the coordination between the regional social-economic sustainable development and rare earth mining.
