Abstract
This paper is concerned with the training needs of current Chartered Engineers and sources personal experience of a recent training programme in line with the requirements of the Institution of Electrical Engineers. It references Pre-University experience, Degree and Company training to date and future expectations, including possible accelerated development programmes and personal training plans. Inadequacies have been identified and solutions outlined. The paper also deals with the present role within the business
