  • Abstract
The essay taked the core area of Yancheng Natural Reserve as the case to extract information of coastal wetland from the ETM+ Remote Sensing Images of the year 2006 and 2011 by the methods of unsupervised classification and Decision Tree classification as well as using ecological knowledge and GIS rules to improve the classification precision. Through analyzing the landscape changes of the classification images of the two years, it fund out that 12.32% of Beach have turned to Spartina marshes and 22.47% of Suaeda swamp have turned to Reed swamp, with another 21.92% turned to Spartina marshes, as a result, the diversity index and the average fractal dimension have decreased.
