Abstract :
The structure and achievable performance of powerful millimetre wave band radar is considered. This radar can be applied in the following areas: the provision of monitoring of functioning space vehicles in Earth geostationary orbit; provision of safety of space flights by means of processing information about space debris to avoid collisions of space vehicles with it; forecasting of the time and the place of large man-made and natural space objects falling on the Earth; and radar research of the surface of the Moon
