  • Abstract
    This work experimentally and numerically investigates the cavity solitons switch-on process in semiconductor microresonators. This is a highly relevant feature to applications since its duration determines the maximum speed at which the device can be addressed. Numerical simulations show a very good agreement with the experimental findings, both from the qualitative and quantitative viewpoints.
