Abstract
This paper presents frequency-comb (OFS) based absolute measurement of infrared frequencies of atoms and molecules. For these new measurements, the 1083 inn laser sources are directly phase-locked to the nearest OFS frequency, thus avoiding intermediate molecular or atomic frequency references, as used in. This approach simplifies the experimental apparatus and improves the frequency precision of the measurements.
