Abstract :
The authors have developed a prototype expert system for the troubleshooting problems, The system is based on an object model, which is one of deep knowledge expressing the structure and function of a sequential circuit, the 74163 counter. The authors describe the concepts of object model, the modeling method of counter circuit, the knowledge representation method for the object knowledge base, inference and tableaux to practise fault diagnosis
