Abstract
In this paper we present, following the Lainiotis multipartitioning control methodology, a new class of neural networks based controllers. Moreover we investigate the performance of the new class of controllers by extensive simulations for the case of linear and nonlinear problems. The results show that the new controllers have excellent performance, achieving significant computational savings due to their massively parallel structure
