Abstract :
This paper is devoted to the study of image processing and motion compensation of C-band inverse synthetic aperture radar (C-ISAR). Motion compensation is approached in two steps: the range alignment and initial phase compensation. The method of cross-correlation alignment combined with peak value alignment is proposed in range alignment and proved to be effective. A dominant scatterer algorithm is used in phase compensation. A PGA autofocus algorithm is tested in ISAR imaging. Finally, an improved CLEAN algorithm is used in ISAR imaging and post-image processing
