Abstract
An improved, single-element antenna sensing technique is described which can simultaneously measure the electric (E) field, magnetic (H) field, and time-dependent Poynting vector of electromagnetic (EM) fields. Two rf voltages are produced which, along with relative phase and frequency informaiton, are transmitted to a remotely located analyzer by a pair of matched fiber optic downlinks.
