Abstract
The emphasis of the paper is to describe the two-beam technique for tracking a target at low elevation angles used in phased array radar. The formulae deduced here have made some correction compared with the ones published before and can be used in any inclination angle of the array surface and include antenna element pattern, resulting in extended accuracy and applicability. The technique has been successfully applied in a L-band phased array radar
